AM System have been working alongside Sony as their preferred supplier for many years, both within the UK and Europe creating Sony Centre stores and many other types of shop in shop displays too.

Sony Centres, with over 150 stores located across the UK and Ireland, are the premier distribution channel for Sony merchandise in the UK and Ireland and since 1996 AM System have been working almost exclusively with Sony on these stores. The store concept evolves rather than radically changes, although for Sony UK’s first stand alone retail unit within Terminal 5 at Heathrow a new concept was trialled. The current store environment is simple, stylish and very easy to change to accommodate the ever-changing products Sony Centres sell.

Always working within the guidelines of Sony’s brief for Sony Centres, AM System will visit, evaluate and survey every proposed site, meeting and discussing individual retailer requests for tweaks to the proven format and create a design solution that satisfies Sony and their retail partner.

AM System will then provide a detailed specification and quotation quote for all aspects of the work and when ordered will build the store to the specification required. Our in-house Project Management team ensures that each store is opened within the agreed time scale, using the best available supporting contractors to provide quality finishes.

AM System will undertake full CDM responsibility as Principal Contractor on Sony’s behalf managing all aspects of H&S on behalf of its clients.
