The out of town shopping experience is becoming an increasingly popular option for customers across the world & recently has sprung to life in Ireland. AM System have worked with a number of large regional independent businesses to develop out of town electrical & DIY stores. Ireland’s out of town shopping is not dominated by the large retail chains the way they are in the UK and this provides an opportunity for local retail businesses, often in partnership with buying groups such as Expert, to set up a strong presence with good-looking, well planned & attractive stores.
Working in partnership with a variety of retailers & the buying groups, AM system plans to create a friendly yet professional prospective in terms of the retail offer throughout these outlets. Typically the type of unit that we will be looking at will be between 5,000 & 10,000 square feet, encompassing many branded areas as well as general retail space, however it remains fundamental as part of the professional design, project management & shopfitting service that we understand the business we are working with & play a hands-on role throughout the design & build process.
Helen Morse our Design Manager, plays a pivotal role in the design & specification part of the process, working closely with the retailers directly, either at our offices in the UK, or on site, in Ireland. Specialising in retail design within the Brown & White Goods sectors, as well as large Garden Centres & DIY offerings, for both multiple & independent retailers, as well as many of the trade’s leading brands, both in the UK & across Europe, Helen has a strong team of Designers to back her & who can work on varying projects for the company.
Some of the jobs have been managed from start to finish by AM system, others have been shopfittings supply & installation only, but whichever way our customers want to use our services, the end result of an AM System fit out is a spectacular store that “does what it says on the tin”.
