Working alongside the Scottish Seabird Centre’s project team and principle designers, Glasgow Science Centre, AM System was appointed under the scope of technical design, manufacture and installation of fixtures, as part of the ground-floor refurbishment project at the Scottish Seabird Centre.
Working as principal contractor for the duration of the fit out, our team were responsible for directly employing subcontractors to complete the flooring and decoration, whilst also working alongside SSC’s nominated contractors. It was a fantastic opportunity for the team, which required no small part of collaboration and efficiency to deliver the client’s concept.
Key factors included:
● Collaboration with the client for the design and planning
● Fixtures developed from initial concepts to maximise the available budget
● The creation of a new welcome desk and information point
● Improved accessibility of the site, alongside maximising available space
